Our Undergraduate programs offers three different degree opportunities for those looking to work with young children:
- Early Education and Care (Preschool Education),
- Early Childhood 4+1 (B.S. in Early Education plus Master's Degree and initial Early Childhood Teaching License)
- Educational Studies (Community Education).
Our Master's (M.Ed) programs in Early Childhood include:
- Initial licensure option for those seeking and initial license and a Master's degree.
- Professional licensure option for those who hold an initial license and seek a professional licence and a Master's degree and/or further professional development.
Each program of study includes a strong career focus. Salem State works collaboratively with community partners to provide every student with intensive fieldwork experiences and internships. Our students graduate ready to excel in a competitive workplace.
