Merrimack College

The School of Education & Social Policy’s educator preparation programs are approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and as such provide education students (candidates) with an approved program which is a requirement for state licensure.  The Commonwealth of Massachusetts participates in the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) Interstate Agreement which facilitates educator movement between states.
